This publication takes a look at one segment of the new social movements in the Philippines, the Philippine peace movement. The first part sets out to trace the origins of the Philippine movement in the armed conflicts that have divided the country for decades and the organizations that addressed these and related concerns. And Part 4 is a bibliographic listing of books, book and journal articles, and other publications on the insurgensies and the peace process in the country.
