From a crop carefully and lovingly grown in the Rio Grande de Cagayan to your favorite humidor and finally to your lips, the journey of the tobacco leaf is a long and complicated one. It begins inside the La Flor de la Isabela factory where the centuries-old tradition of cigar- making excellence thrives.

Each La Flor de la Isabela cigar is a wonderful melange of flavors that is expertly blended and lovingly crafted by hand from start to finish. The blending of three to four different kinds of leaves is the first step in the process. The individual tobacco leaves that make up each cigar's binder, filling and wrapper are manually selected for your quality. At the La Flor de la Isabela factory, only the best leaves make the grade.

Then we come to the rolling. Cigar rolling is considered an art from unlike any other; torcedores often take years perfecting their craft. Leaves that have been sorted and blended are put in the rollers' hand and hence begins the skilled magic that creates a masterpiece from a sheaf of aged, dried tobacco leaves.

The rolled cigar is now carefully fitted in a wooden mold and carefully stacked beneath a cigar press. Then, the formed cigars are individually hand-wrapped and neatly trimmed for uniformity and aesthetics. The now nearly-ready cigar is then brought to a humidity-controlled room to age. This eliminates to excess moisture and allows the tobacco flavors to meld together and acquire their distinct taste.

After the cigars have been properly aged, they are packaged, again by hand, into the wooden La Flor de la Isabela boxes for delivery to you.
