Tagalog Movie
Screenplay and Directed by F. H. Constantino
GALAWGAW, LVNs Christmas offering in 1954 -- shown at the Dalisay Theater 16-25 December -- is a rags-to-riches tale of a country lass, with a sprinkling of romance, comedy and music (Juan Silos Jr contributed the theme song, Galawgaw).
Nida Blanca, in the lead role, is truly an epitome of the word galawgaw impish and so downright funny.
Nida Blanca and Jaime de la Rosa
Appearing opposite Nida is Jaime de la Rosa who plays the dashing hunter caught in one of the formers antics.
