The fifth commandment is the theme of this film.
Huwag Kang Papatay is God's command that tortures the mind of David (Ace Vergel) everytime he is in the brink of killing out of anger.
He has no one left but a new born son, all of his loved ones were brutally killed in various ways by Martin (Johnny del Gado), the mayor's son whose mind is unstable and who was once defeated and embarrassed by his bravery.
He even asked God why such blows are happening despite him serving Him as an altar server.
" Huwag Kang Papatay " continues to bombard his mind 'til the last part and was even reiterated by Father Ramirez (Ruben Rustia).
But until when is the challenge of the said commandment?
