Tagalog Movie
It's over a decade since Gene Ynfante (Piolo) lost his girlfriend in an unfaithful accident.
He then transformed into a non-believing cynic, an obsessive-compulsive events organizer, with a life revolving around money and sex. Nothing else.
His life even becomes even more ecstatic learning he's to inherit his late grandmother's wealth but only if he completes all nine-dawn masses (simbang gabi) of Christmas, a customary Pinoy practice he repels.
He then meets Elise (Donita) a soft-spoken and beautiful, pre-school teacher who was also nursing a broken heart.
Her fiancι dumped her for no reason at all and she diverts the pain by caring and comforting her students like her own.
Now, just when Gene is delving in a life of emptiness, and believing in lust not love, Elise then provides him enlightenment... and enlivens his emotions once again.
