Tagalog Movie
Jupit (gay lingo for the word "haircut") tackles the story of a gay parlorista, Lauro, who personifies and idolizes actress Nora Aunor.
He took the responsibility of a breadwinner in the family when his father died a long time ago.
This thing changed when his youngest sister became pregnant and didn't finish college.
Lauro was so devastated and rebelled against his family and left them.
In his desire to forget all his frustrations, he concentrated on his parlor business.
Along with his goal to make his business successful, he also changed his name and image, which he wanted ever since.
To be recognized as a full blooded woman is a dream-come true.
However, the road to finding true love, happiness, and fulfillment will not be too easy for him.
Will he emerge victorious or more defeated as he is before?
A hillarious movie with a touch of drama that will surely inspire those who wish to find the meaning of what real happiness and love is all about.
Directed by Alvin Reyes Fortuno
