Serena Luna is the most alluring woman in the rustic island of Plata.
Alas, Serena's beauty only brings her more problems as all men on the island seem only to want her for themselves.
She tries her best to leave, not only to save herself from a doomed fate, but more importantly to find her mother Mila, who fled from Plata because of a tragic event.
In her quest to find her mother, Serena faces several challenges. She falls prey to unscrupulous men before finding her mother.
It's hardly a joyous reunion because Milia ia now facing trial for a murder that she didin't commit.
Will Serena and Milia find happiness in lives filled with seemingly inescapable misery?
