Can first love last forever? Ang teleseryeng magpapaalala sa iyo what it feels like to fall in love for the very first time.
The beautiful mountainous province of Benguet is replete with crops, most notably, strawberries; and for Agnes Calay and the rest of the farmers in La Preza, strawberries are they primary source of livelihood.
So when a heavy thing falls from the sky and lands on the back of their delivery truck, Agnes's heart is crushed along with the strawberries in their cargo.
And worse, she realizes that it was a man in parachute who caused this misfortune.
Amidst Benguet's city capital, Baguio, the Grande Manor Hotel stands opulently-an establishment that represents the wealth and influence of the Grande family.
But the hotel management is in disarray as well as the family that runs it, prodding the young and reckless hotel heir, Alexander Grande III, to escape by strapping himself to a parachute and jumping off a mountain. It is this leap that causes the paths of Agnes and Xander to cross.
Fed up with his son's antics, Alex orders Xander to move to La Presa and work among the farmers until he has paid for the strawberries he destroyed.
This begins a series of spats between Xander and Agnes, who is determined to teach Xander lessons in life the hard way.
As Xander works as a farm hand, Agnes becomes determined to unmask his true nature as an arrogant wealthy brat with no regard for other people. Unfortunately for Agnes, her family and friends are seeing the opposite.
Xander, on the other hand, is unconsciously becoming a responsible young man with a deepening appreciation of the camaraderie among the farmers whose way of life may be simple but far happier than that of his own family.
As the annual Strawberry Festival draws near, the farmers pin their hope on Agnes and her bestfriend Andrew to win the pageant prize: a truck they can use in delivering crops to the market.
But two days before the event, an accident leaves Agnes without a partner for the Strawberry King and Queen Pageant.
