Although Luisa (Kristine Hermesa) loves Carding (TJ Trinidad), very much, she continues to resist him because of her family.
But Carding meets an accident.
With Carding lying in a coma, Luisa realizes that life without Carding is meaningless.
Soon, Carding recovers. With a new life comes new hope.
Carding finally confesses his feelings for Luisa and she also admits her love for him.
But their relationship will remain a secret, knowing that their parents won't stand for it.
Meanwhile, Menang (Cherie Gil), decides to run for mayong hoping to regain her wealth once she wins.
Unknown to all, Luisa's father, Tomas (Joel Torre), has a heart condition that he keeps to himself.
A new guy, Diego (Luis Alandi), also moves into town with his tomboy sister Jojo (Roxanne Guinoo).
Idad (Rio Locsin), and the family becomes close to the siblings.
Totoy (Joross Gamboa), falls in love with the mannnish Jojo but decides not to court her because of family obligations.
Soon, Menang suspects that Carding is having a relationship with Luisa.
To protect the secret, Carding tells Menang that his girlfriend is Mimi (Andrea del Rosario).
Idad is all the more against Carding whom she believes is still after Luisa even though he already has a girlfriend.
Still, Luisa and Carding will continue to fight for their love.
But how long can they endure the trials of their secret relationship?
