Luisa and Carding are finally married but life isn't as happy as they expected.
Carding goes to school in Manila during the weekdays, leaving Luisa home alone with Menang.
Meanwhile, Idad still refuses to forgive Luisa, causing a rift between her and her father, Tomas.
Unknown to everyone, Menang makes life very difficult to Luisa.
Things get worse when Luisa accidentally overhears Menang talking to her campaign manager David about being bankrupt.
Menang threatens Luisa not to tell anyone or she will make life a living hell for her family.
Luisa suffers in silence for so long until the night when she finally fights back.
Unfortunately, as she's defending herself from Menang's beatings Carding sees her pushing Menang.
Menang turns the situation around claiming that Luisa has been cruel to her.
Carding is so confused, not knowing who to believe.
The problem in his home will affect him so much that he turns to his only friend in campus, Mimi (Andrea del Rosario), who uses Carding's vulnerability to her advantage.
