When Luisa (Kristine Hermosa), learns she's pregnant, Carding (TJ Trinidad), goes back to Luisa to make their marriage work.
This enrages Mimi (Andrea del Rosario), so she also pretends to be pregnant.
Carding feels guilty but still stays with Luisa.
Mimi gets so mad that she asks Diego (Luis Alandy), to conspire with her devious plan.
Wanting to ensure his sister's future, Diego agrees of conniving with her.
He tells Carding that he's been having an affair with Luisa and that she's carrying his baby.
Carding is so furious and just before Luisa confronts Diego for the truth, he expires due to his fatal injury caused by the jail chaos.
Carding throws Luisa out of their home.
But Alex (Rico Barrera), Carding's cousin, overhears Mimi talking about her deal with Diego.
Unfortunately before he could tell Carding, he accidentally runs over Luisa with his car.
Afraid and confused, Alex flees.
Luisa and her family decide to go to Manila to leave the problems in Sta. Lucia and Carding behind.
It will only be a matter of time before circumstance reveals the truth behind Mimi's lies.
