Purged of all doubts, David (Miguel Faustmann) decides to take full responsibility as JR's father, and all hell breaks loose when Ingrid (Agot Isidro) finds out and triggers her to wage a full-scale war against David's other family, nearly killing JR in the process.
It is the furor over this revelation that will also strain the once indestructible friendship between Dave and JR, who must now learn to accept each other as brothers as well.
But just as David tries to settle their dispute, fate takes him away in a cruel gun mishap involving JR's other brother Ramon (Coco Martin), leaving in his wake an even bigger battle between his warring families with a will stipulating JR as an equal heir to his legitimate son Dave.
