Years lapse into painful memories as Noel (Piolo Pascual) and Melanie (Claudine Barretto) fight to make their marriage work with only the prison as their venue to get together.
Justice finally comes sweet though late- Melanie is vindicated but Cynthia (Jodi Sta. Maria) had raised Noel and Melanie's son Ernest, as her own.
What is supposed to be joyous homecoming for Melanie actually ignites new conflicts.
Their son recognizes Cynthia as his mother and refuses to warm up to his real parents.
Cynthia, on the other hand, is not willing to enlighten Ernest unless Noel gives in to her whims.
