Tagalog Movie
Banaue tells the story of the Ifugao tribe's quest for the promise land.
A young maiden named Banaue (Nora Aunor), falls in love with Sadek (Christopher de Leon), a young Ifugao warrior.
As they start working on the land, other tribes try to claim it as their own resulting in a bloody war.
Banaue embarks in a mission to claim her father's severed head from Aruk (Ronaldo Valdez), a ruthless leader of the other tribe until unexpectedly falls for the man responsible for her father's death.
Sadek challenges Aruk to fight for Banaue's affection and the right to claim the promise land.
