Tagalog Movie
A knockout film starring the people's champ Manny Pacquiao.
Revered Philippine boxing hero Manny Pacquiao plays the lead role of Ambrosio "Bruce" Lerio a young "probinsyano" who travels to Manila searching for a better life in order to support his sick mother (Daria Ramirez) and blind sister (Bianca Pulmona).
Through the help of his Uncle Pedring (Ramon Zamora), Bruce sells "balut" and "chicharon" night and day to support his family.
While working as a street vendor, he befriends three policemen.
They discover his other identity as a suspended boxer who accidentally killed the brother of his childhood sweetheart Fannie (Aubrey Miles).
Soon he finds himself training once again for fights under Fernan Balani (Eddie Garcia), an international boxing promoter.
Unfortunately for him, a number of people dont like the talented boxer's rise to fame.
As Bruce prepares for a world title fight, thugs who want a share of his rising fortunes kidnap his mother and sister.
But things eventually turn toward Bruce's favor and because of his talent, he is able to rise from dire poverty and emerge victorious in the game of life.
